OCTAGON OCC is a joint development of Octagon Process, Inc. and the United States Navy, designed to replace the hazardous oxygen cleaning compounds currently in use. It is a water-based cleaner that will not generate the highly toxic and flammable conditions associated with the use of chlorinated fluorocarbons.

OCC was designed specifically to clean surfaces in contact with oxygen; such as oxygen enriched liquid and gas generating, handling, transport and storage equipment. Related parts, such as hoses, pipes, valves, tanks, flasks, connectors, pumps, regulators and face masks can also be effectively cleaned with OCC.

Fluid Characteristics

• Water based, alkaline solution containing no organic material.
• Non-hazardous and contains no environmentally regulated material.
• Compatible with all metals.
• Non-Flammable and compatible with liquid and gaseous oxygen.
• Manufactured according to MIL-DTL-24800.
